Who Is Responsible

This notice covers gates-of-olympus-1000.ca, published by the Olympus 1000 Desk (see who we are). Privacy questions go to Ryan Strowger at [email protected]. Websites you reach through our links — casinos, Pragmatic Play, help organisations — have their own privacy policies, and this notice does not cover them.

What We Never Collect

We do not ask for your name, e-mail, phone number, date of birth or address. We take no payments, so card and bank details never reach us. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no heatmap and no session recording on any page. Fonts, scripts and images are served from our own domain rather than from third-party servers; the single exception is the demo frame, and it loads only when you ask for it. We do not sell, rent or share data with advertisers.

The Click Counter

A button that leads to a casino first passes through our address /go/go.php. The script adds one line to a log, raises a running total by one and forwards you to the casino. Pressing a demo button sends one similar line to the same log, so we know how many readers actually start the game. Each line holds four fields and nothing else:

Your IP address, browser, device type and any identifier are not written. We use the counts to learn which pages and buttons help readers. The log cannot be opened from a browser, and since it holds nothing personal, no line in it can be traced back to you.

Cookies and Browser Storage

Our pages set no cookies. One small value goes into your browser's session storage: a flag saying you have already watched the gates open, so the animation does not replay on every page. It contains nothing about you, never leaves your browser and is erased when you close the tab.

The Pragmatic Play Demo

The demo is a frame served by Pragmatic Play's public demo server, demogamesfree.pragmaticplay.net. Opening a page does not load it; pressing "Spin the Free Demo" does. From that moment the demo is Pragmatic Play's service: like any website, their server receives your IP address and browser information, and it may use its own cookies or storage to run the game under Pragmatic Play's privacy policy. If you prefer not to connect to Pragmatic Play, leave the button alone — every other part of the site works without it.

Casinos You Visit Through Us

Following a casino link takes you off our site. The casino receives what your browser sends to any website, plus a tracking parameter in the address that credits the visit to us — that is how affiliate commission works. If you register, you give your details to the casino, not to us, and the operator does not pass them back. Read the casino's privacy policy before you sign up.

Hosting Logs

The site runs on a web server. The hosting provider may keep standard technical logs — IP address, time, requested page, browser string — for security and troubleshooting, normally for a short time. We do not merge these logs with the click counter and do not use them to profile anyone.

Links to Help Organisations

Pages link to support services such as the Responsible Gambling Council, Gambling Support BC, Jeu : aide et référence, Gambling Therapy and Gamblers Anonymous. These are plain links without tracking parameters. We cannot see whether you follow them, and the organisation learns where you came from only if your browser reports it, as it would for any link.

Where Data Travels

Our pages send your data nowhere. If you start the demo, your browser talks to Pragmatic Play's servers, which may be located outside Canada; a casino you visit may store data abroad as well. Their privacy policies say where.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS only. The server refuses every browser request for the click log files. A content security policy allows scripts only from our own domain and frames only from Pragmatic Play's demo server.

Your Choices

Each data flow described here can be avoided. Leaving the demo button alone means your browser never contacts Pragmatic Play. Blocking site storage in your browser removes the one session flag, and the only effect is that the gate animation plays again. Reading the site without pressing casino buttons means nothing about your visit is written to our click log at all. The site works fully in each case.

Services We Do Not Use

To be specific, the site does not embed social-media widgets or share buttons, comment systems, chat boxes, video players from third-party platforms, advertising networks, tag managers or A/B testing tools. If any of these is ever added, it will be named in this notice before it goes live.

Children

The site is intended for adults of legal gambling age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors — and, as described above, we collect no personal data from anyone.

Your Rights

Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA and the provincial acts, lets you ask an organisation what personal information it holds about you, have it corrected and withdraw consent. Because the site collects no personal information, there is normally nothing to access or erase. If you believe we do hold something about you, write to Ryan Strowger at [email protected]; we answer every privacy request within 30 days.

Changes to This Notice

If the way the site handles data ever changes — for example, if analytics were added — this notice will be updated first and its version date changed. The general terms of the site are in our site rules.
