Who We AreThe Olympus 1000 Desk · how this site is made

gates-of-olympus-1000.ca is an independent English-language guide to a single slot — Pragmatic Play's Gates of Olympus 1000 — written for players in Canada. Behind it is the Olympus 1000 Desk, a small editorial team that plays the game in the studio's official demo, records what the server pays and turns those records into tables and charts. We are not a casino, not the studio and not an operator, and nobody can place a bet with us.

One Game, Studied Closely

Most slot sites write a paragraph about each of a thousand games. We chose the opposite: one game family, tested until we could explain every number on its screens. That narrow focus is why this site can show a paytable converted to Canadian dollars, the exact odds the server assigns to the 15,000x cap and the results of thousands of recorded rounds — things a general review site rarely has time to collect.

The family we cover is Gates of Olympus 1000 and the two editions built on the same maths, the Dice and Xmas skins. The 2021 original and the Super Scatter edition appear where a comparison helps you decide.

Where Our Numbers Come From

Each figure on the site has one of four origins, and the page that uses it says which.

  1. The rules screens. The game has seven information pages. We opened them in the official demo, set to CAD, on 11 October 2026 and copied every value: symbol pays, tumble and orb rules, free spins, ante bet, buy, RTP, bet limits and the 15,000x cap.
  2. The server configuration. When the demo starts, Pragmatic Play's server sends a block of settings — the RTP of each mode, the maximum win and how often that maximum is hit. We saved this block for five editions of the game.
  3. Recorded rounds. We played the demo at a fixed C$1 bet and stored the server's answer for every round. Those files are the source of every chart on the site.
  4. Operator pages. Bonus terms, the sign-up form, deposit methods and bet limits at 1xBet Canada, read on 11 October 2026 and always quoted with that date.

How We Ran the Tests

Every measured round was played in an ordinary desktop browser on the public demo server, demogamesfree.pragmaticplay.net, with the currency set to CAD. The only setting we changed was the bet, fixed at C$1 so that every result reads directly as a multiple of the stake; sound, speed and autoplay were left at their defaults and the ante bet was off. Each edition was opened by its own game code — vs20olympx for Gates of Olympus 1000, vs20dicegatex for Dice and vs20olympxmas for Xmas — so a record can never be credited to the wrong game.

What a Server Record Contains

For every spin the server returns a line of fields, and those lines are what we store. Among them are the symbols on the grid, the win of each tumble, the total win of the round, the multiplier orbs and their values, the running total multiplier inside free spins, the number of free spins awarded and remaining, and the play balance after the round. Because the record holds the grid itself, every payout can be rebuilt from scratch with the paytable — which is exactly how we check it.

The four measured samples add up to 3,100 rounds. The filmed rounds produced 252 screenshots, each matched to the server answer of the round it shows. Screenshots illustrate the pages; the tables and charts use only the measured samples, so a lucky filmed round never inflates a statistic.

From Raw Record to Published Page

A page goes through five stages before it goes live. We start with the rules screens and convert every value to Canadian dollars at a stated bet. Next, those values are compared with the settings block, so an RTP or a cap is confirmed by two independent sources rather than one. Then the measured results are added, computed by a script from the raw records. After that, any operator fact — a minimum deposit, a wagering rule, a stake limit — is checked on the operator's own page and dated. Finally the site is built from those same files, so when a number is corrected in the source, every page that shows it changes in the same build.

Checking Ourselves

Recording a server answer is only useful if we read it correctly. For each of the 3,100 measured rounds we rebuilt the win from the symbols on the grid, the paytable and the orbs, then compared our figure with the amount the server actually paid. Across all four samples the difference was zero rounds.

We are also strict about units. A result such as "579.55x" always means a multiple of the bet, never of the buy price, and the dollar amount stands next to it: 579.55x at a C$1 bet is C$579.55, won from a buy that cost C$100.

A Mistake We Made and Fixed

An early summary of the bonus-buy sample listed the best buy as "C$57,955". The multiplier had been applied to the C$100 buy price instead of the C$1 bet. Adding up the raw records exposed it: the hundred buys total C$10,803.80, a figure that only works if the best round paid C$579.55. The corrected amount went into the source file, and the next build replaced it on every page. That is our standard for every error: fix the source, rebuild, update the date on the affected pages.

How the Site Earns, and What That Does Not Change

Some buttons and links lead to a casino through our own redirect address. If you open an account through one of them, the operator may pay us a commission. You pay nothing for this, and the bonus you receive is the one the operator offers to everyone.

Commission does not buy a place in our text. Operators do not see pages before they are published, Pragmatic Play has no say in what we write, and if an operator changes its terms for the worse, we change our description to match. The game's RTP, its cap and our test results are the same whichever casino you choose, and our guide to where to play Gates of Olympus 1000 shows you how to check any casino yourself. Affiliate links carry the attributes sponsored and nofollow, so search engines see them for what they are.

What You Will Not Find Here

  • Promises of winnings. Gates of Olympus 1000 is a high-volatility game with a 96.50% RTP; a test sample describes our rounds, not yours.
  • Systems that "beat" the slot. No bet pattern changes the maths, and we do not pretend otherwise.
  • Invented people. No fake reviews, star ratings, testimonials or stock photos of a made-up expert. The Desk signs its work as a team.
  • Forms asking for your data. The site never requests personal or payment details; a page that does is not ours.

Why a Team Signature

Pages are signed by the Olympus 1000 Desk rather than by a named author, and we will not borrow a stranger's face to look more personal. A byline cannot prove a number; a method can. That is why every figure here points to a dated source, every chart is computed from stored records, and every payout in those records was recounted. Anyone with the demo open can repeat the checks.

Keeping Pages Current

When Pragmatic Play updates the game, we reopen the demo and read the rules screens again. Operator terms are rechecked whenever a page quotes them. Every page shows its last update next to the byline. Measured samples keep their original date: new tests are published as new, dated tables, never quietly swapped for the old ones.

Age, Trademarks and Responsibility

The site is written for adults old enough to gamble where they live — in most of the country that means 19. If gambling stops being entertainment, our play safe page lists free, confidential help available around the clock.

Gates of Olympus, Gates of Olympus 1000, Gates of Olympus 1000 Dice, Gates of Olympus Xmas 1000, Gates of Olympus Super Scatter and the related artwork belong to Pragmatic Play. Screenshots come from the public demo and are used to explain the rules. The site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Pragmatic Play or any casino. Our site rules set out how the site may be used, and the data privacy notice explains what little we record.

Contact

Questions, corrections and requests about the site go to Ryan Strowger at [email protected]. To report an error, include the page address and the number or sentence you believe is wrong; corrections are checked against the source and, once confirmed, fixed on every page that carries them. We do not act as a casino's support desk: questions about an account, a deposit or a withdrawal can only be answered by the operator.
